RHIANNON DOOGAN

Rhiannon Doogan is a Mezzo soprano living in Manchester. She studies with Eiddwen Harrhy at the Royal Northern College of Music where she is a recipient of the Kathleen Trust scholarship, the Annie Ridyard Scholarship and the D’Oyly Carte Trust scholarship. Rhiannon has performed professionally with the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company as part of their 25th Anniversary celebrations and most recently as a chorus member, cover and lead role for Buxton International Festivals Young artist scheme. She has also recently performed the roles of La Badessa in Suor Angelica, Shining one in Pilgrim’s Progress and Mere Jeanne in Dialogues des Carmelites. Rhiannon is looking forward returning to Buxton to be part of their chorus as well as principal Mezzo in the premier of their newly composed work “In your hands” by Kate Whitley.
