Brinny-tones Dementia Choir

A large part of our work at SoundUp is making music and singing accessible to people with dementia and their carers across Manchester. The SoundUp Brinny-Tones Choir is a dementia choir formed in 2019, made up of residents from Brinnington Care Home in Stockport. We have a fantastic time rehearsing together each week and the choir has become a highlight of the residents’ week at Brinnington.

They are true advocates of the joy brought through singing, and our choir is looking forward to many more exciting performances ahead.
